Get outside and let the child be wild!

Play is a fundamental part of a child's learning. When a child takes risks (within reason of course!), experiments and can allow their imagination to run wild...this in turn can lead to problem solving, learning to fail and what is needed for success and a love of nature. Add a friend to the mix and we have socialising, turntaking, and communication skills.

Having worked for 12 years in education, and having 2 children of my own, I am a firm believer that not all classrooms have four walls.
